Take your dermal filler skills beyond foundation level.
Designed for practitioners who have already completed foundation dermal filler training, our Advanced Dermal Filler Training develops your skills in advanced facial assessment, treatment planning and structural enhancement of the cheeks, chin and jawline.
This course moves beyond simply learning injection techniques. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of facial anatomy, ageing, proportions and structural changes, helping you make more informed treatment decisions and create balanced, natural-looking results.
The focus throughout is on anatomy-led, conservative treatment — understanding why you are treating an area, selecting an appropriate approach and knowing when further treatment may not be necessary.

Areas Covered
Cheeks
Learn how to assess cheek structure, projection and volume and how the cheek influences overall facial balance. You’ll explore deep structural and deep soft-tissue approaches alongside appropriate product and technique selection.
Chin
Develop your understanding of chin projection, height, width and its relationship with the facial profile and lower-face proportions. Treatment planning focuses on achieving appropriate structural support and balance rather than simply adding volume.
Jawline
Learn to assess the mandibular angle, body, pre-jowl region and chin-to-jawline transition. You’ll explore how bone, muscle and soft tissue contribute to jawline appearance and how this influences your treatment plan.
How the Course Works
This is a blended learning course, combining online theory with a practical classroom training day.
You’ll complete your theory before attending your practical session, allowing your classroom time to focus on applying your knowledge to real facial assessment, treatment planning and supervised practical treatment.
During your practical training you’ll observe tutor demonstrations and carry out treatments on live models under supervision.
Online Theory
Your online training includes 10 comprehensive modules:
Module 1: Introduction to Advanced Dermal Filler
Module 2: Advanced Facial Anatomy
Module 3: Facial Ageing & Structural Changes
Module 4: Advanced Facial Assessment & Treatment Planning
Module 5: Filler Selection & Advanced Structural Treatment Principles
Module 6: Advanced Cheek Enhancement
Module 7: Advanced Chin Enhancement
Module 8: Advanced Jawline Enhancement
Module 9: Complications, Prevention & Management
Module 10: Consultation, Consent, Aftercare & Assessment
Each module includes an end-of-module knowledge quiz to reinforce your learning before progressing.
Practical Training
Your classroom training brings the theory together in practice.
You’ll work through:
Consult → Assess → Plan → Explain → Consent → Treat → Reassess → Document
Rather than simply copying injection patterns, you’ll be encouraged to understand the anatomy in front of you and explain the reasoning behind your treatment decisions.
Your practical competency will include facial assessment, identification of anatomical landmarks, treatment planning, product and technique selection, safe treatment delivery, continual tissue observation, reassessment and aftercare.

Why Train With Sammys Aesthetics Beauty & Training Academy?
This course isn’t about teaching you to use more filler.
It’s about developing the confidence to assess more effectively, understand the anatomy, plan appropriately and make better treatment decisions.
